For Heaven's Sake (1950)

Two angels, Charles and Arthur, are sent down to retrieve a young girl who has selected the couple she wishes to be born to but who are too involved in their theatrical lives to think about procreation. To try to stir things up, Charles materializes and poses as a rich potential backer for their next show; he discovers that life on earth can be fun.
